if i had a religion, it would be the collective intelligence

It's only dogma? participatory processes

I’ve spent the last 15 years designing and facilitating processes that honor the wisdom of the group, not as a concept but as a living practice. From boardrooms to community circles, across Latin America, Europe, and West Africa, I’ve seen how real transformation happens when people are invited to think together, decide together, and create together. My work is rooted in the belief that participation is not just a tool; it is a commitment to equity, creativity, and collective power.

where i came from, shapes how i facilitate

When I was only 13 years old, my parents endeavored a courageous journey: we migrated to the USA to have a better life. I remember being fascinated with how everything there was different, and I made a promise to myself: I would live at least one year in each country. Truth be told, I wasn’t very good at geography.

So many years have passed, and I’ve spent them collecting stories around the world. From the favelas of Rio to the coast of Senegal, from indigenous villages in Paraguay to immigrant neighborhoods in Lisbon, I’ve called many places home, not just because I lived there, but also because it shaped my journey as a facilitator.

My practice is deeply rooted in this lived experience. I’ve learned to read the unsaid, to hold space beyond language, to value both the sharpness of data and the warmth of intuition.

My method is not a method; it’s a repertoire shaped by community newspapers, youth camps, strategy retreats, and hours spent sitting on the floor, listening.

Being a migrant taught me how to adapt. Being Brazilian taught me how to improvise. And being a Black woman taught me how to navigate complexity with courage, grace and power.
